Day in history gig at Ventura features a first set fire due to the fact that there were terrible fires visible in the area. Unfortunately 23 years later the state is still facing a tough battle with these fires.

This is my favorite '85 show, with one of my favorite Fires of all time, nice and funky. Other highlights.. Bird Song > MNS and a stellar 2nd set with a gorgeous Comes A Time.

There's a pretty nice CBS report contrasting this show with Live Aid on YouTube:

If you look closely you can see me in the crowd shots... I'm the guy with the long hair, beard, shorts, tye dye and psychedelic gleam in his eyes!!... :)-

There's another "day in history" Fire: 7/13/84. The second and last (I think) Scarlet->Touch->Fire, and of course, the BidSong-esque Dark Star encore. Love this show.
